Hop Aboard the Easter Bunny Express at Pine Creek Railroad!
Spring is officially in the air, and that means it's time to start planning some unforgettable family fun! If you’re looking for a magical, screen-free weekend activity that the kids will absolutely love, we have great news: the Easter Bunny Express is returning to the Pine Creek Railroad right here in Allaire State Park.
Run by the incredible volunteers at the New Jersey Museum of Transportation, this historic narrow-gauge railway is a local treasure. Taking a ride on their vintage trains is a blast on any given day, but it becomes truly special when a certain furry guest of honor hops on board!
Why Families Love It
Instead of just waiting in line for a quick holiday photo, the Easter Bunny Express turns meeting the Easter Bunny into an interactive adventure. Your family will get to settle into a historic train car for a scenic, relaxing ride through the woods of Allaire State Park. During the trip, the Easter Bunny rides right along with you, walking through the train to greet the children, hand out smiles, and pose for pictures.
It’s the perfect blend of local history and holiday magic. Plus, it’s incredibly affordable and stress-free. There are no expensive pre-sale tickets to fight over online—you just show up, buy your tickets at the station, and climb aboard!
